Adventure Sworn Tradesman Koa Handle W/Matching Firesteel-CPMS35VN-W/Certificate

Description

This is a custom Adventure Sworn Tradesman knife.  They don't do this much anymore and if they do, it's quite the wait to get a knife.  They are worth it.  Knife is new and unused, no boxes opened or test cuts, original anti rust coating is still present.  Letter of authenticity is still sealed.  Will be shipped in the protective cover that it was sent from Adventure Sworn.
The knife is S35VN, which has some serious hardness and edge retention.  Scandi Grind.  A matching firesteel is included.
The handle is stabilized Koa with an epoxy edge.  This captures just about every aspect of a Koa Nut's dream: Curls - Check.  Spalting - Check, Sweet live edge - Check, Mix of sapwood and heartwood - Double Check.  Chose a lighter block for this as it will likely darken with age and I wanted the figure to be prominent after years of usage.  Adventure Sworn did a great job framing the handle to capture the best parts of the block.
This is my second custom AS knife.  I had lost my original, darker Koa handled knife while doing yard work and was really bummed.  Was hanging around the front yard looking for it, people thought my old lady had tossed me out or something.  Ordered this knife when they opened custom orders. Found my first knife the following year before this one arrived and it looked great. Have not used this knife since I had my old friend back.
