Inspired by the ancient highly decorative Persian leaves, Cold Steel’s scimitar is a true oriental gem!
Its beautiful blade is deeply curved to facilitate the devastating drag cut and is beautifully polished with a wide and deep fuller. Made of expertly treated 1065 high carbon steel, it is perfectly balanced and hand polished to a sharp edge. The large S-guard and nipple are intricately engraved and the scales of the dark Malaysian salt wood handle are securely held in place with three sturdy brass pins. The bulbous knob features a brass-encrusid hole for a cord, cord, or sash.
The scimitar is supplied complete with a thick hand-sewn leather case with engraved steel collar, chape and carrying rings.
