This is a 1988 Buck knife.
301 Stockman.
This is a one owner item that I purchased myself.
It has almost never been used, but I may have cut a few things once or twice. It has been mostly stored.
(I feel bad storing it as a collection because I know what I'll use when camping.
(I'm sorry to say that I have a collection of things that I use when camping. (I have not polished it.
I haven't seen any recent products, but I think the folding knives of this era are well made. I have not seen any recent products, but I think this era's folding knives are well made. The balance of the main blade when it is stored is well centered. This basic seems to be particularly difficult, but I feel that it is indeed BUCK.
